About Taguig City University-City Educational Assistance Allowance (TCU-CEAA)

TCU-CEAA is the Taguig City University-City Educational Assistance Allowance for qualified students of Taguig City University. It supports continuing enrollment through term-based educational assistance, documentary validation, grade review, and merit incentives for eligible renewing scholars.

Basic Qualification Criteria

  1. Applicant must already be enrolled in Taguig City University.
  2. If 18 years old or older, applicant must be an active voter of Taguig.
  3. At least one of the parents must be an active voter of Taguig.
  4. Family must be residents of Taguig for at least three (3) years.
  5. Of good moral character both in paper and in actual behavior.
Reminder

Prepare your enrollment record, latest grades, valid IDs, and residency documents before starting the application so evaluator review can proceed without delay.

Required Documents

Prepare clear and readable copies that match the active semester and school year under the current TCU-CEAA review window.
For New Applicants

Required documents:

  1. Current enrollment, registration, or matriculation record for the active term.
  2. School ID or any valid government-issued ID within the validity period.
  3. Birth certificate or equivalent civil registry document.
  4. Junior high school or senior high school credentials when required for evaluation.
For Renewing Applicants

Required documents:

  1. Current term enrollment, registration, or matriculation record.
  2. Certificate of grades or equivalent record from the previous term.
  3. Updated school ID or valid government-issued ID.
  4. Any additional requirement flagged by the evaluator for the active term.
Additional Supporting Documents
  1. Clear supporting documents for any profile details that require verification.
  2. Program or course certifications when specifically requested during review.
  3. Address or residency documents only when flagged by the evaluator.
  4. Parent or guardian records only when relevant to the submitted application.
  5. Other documents listed in the active-term scholarship announcement.

Merit Incentives

  • In addition to the allowance, merit incentives are provided to encourage diligent study and foster excellence among students.
  • For RENEWING SCHOLARS with a Semestral Weighted Average (SWA) of “88.75%” or higher, or its equivalent, for the previous semester with at least 15 units earned, with no failing marks, incomplete, blank or no grade subjects, or dropped subjects.
  • Grades for P.E. and NSTP are not included in the computation.
  • Merit incentives are applied after the immediately preceding semester.

NOTE: New applicant is not eligible to apply for MERIT INCENTIVE.

Merit Incentive Grade Computation

  1. Multiply each subject grade by its credit units.
  2. Get the sum of all the grades computed.
  3. Divide the total computed grades by the total credit units.

Maintaining the Educational Assistance

  • Submit the online application during the active application window every term.
  • Upload all required documents and the latest grades for the active review period.
  • Maintain passing academic standing and avoid incomplete, failed, blank, or dropped subjects.
  • Resolve evaluator remarks or missing requirements before the published deadline.
  • Monitor your dashboard and notifications for approval, remark, and resubmission updates.
Review Outcomes
  1. Incomplete records may lead to remarks or temporary hold.
  2. Invalid or inconsistent submissions may require resubmission for the same term.
  3. Final approval remains subject to evaluator validation and active-term rules.
